The danger of laughing in one's sleep

A somewhat stupid husband was caught by his wife laughing heartily during his siesta. She woke him up and asked him point-blank:"Why were you laughing in your sleep?" He answered "I was just dreaming that you let me take a concubine."His wife got very upset: "How dare you?""But it was only a dream, darling," he answered. "You're not allowed such dreams.""All right, all right," he responded, "I won't have any in the future.""Don't try and be artful-how shall I know if you take care not to laugh anymore?" was her reply.Unable to prove his sincerity, the poor man had to pledge never again to have a siesta.
